Welcome! Coming up in this newsletter - two important dates for your diary.
There is much spoken and written about 'junk food', but very little reference is made to 'junk vitamins'. Are you certain that the supplements you take are of the highest quality? Are you aware that the cheaper brands are usually the 'junk vitamin' brands, made out of synthetic chemicals which your body will find not only difficult to absorb, but also place it under stress. Interestingly, it is this sort of vitamin that the pharmaceutical companies usually test for supplement efficacy. Naturally the results are poor and so vitamin and minerals are deemed a waste of money. At The Healing Touch Therapy, all supplements are entirely natural and sourced from food, not chemical derivatives. Each time I recommend a supplement, I check that it raises the persons vitality. The nutritional companies I recommend are www.nutri.co.uk www.health-interlink.com and www.nutri-linkltd.co.uk . Also I source specialist products from equally reputable companies which I know provide to many other practitioners.
If you are looking for inspiration to help you and your family eat more naturally and healthily then this next event is for you.
Junnie McGregor is giving a presentation here at 1 Blackwell Lane, Darlington on juicing, sprouting and the advantages of eating super foods. Junnie practices Herbal Medicine and Nutritional Healing, and she believes the body can start the healing process from within by introducing living foods into the diet - tapping into Nature's abundant pharmacy. She will demonstrate how to juice for maximum health benefits, how to grow your own foods in your home, and most important of all, she will explain why juicing is so beneficial to improving health and vitality. The date is Saturday 9th August starting at 2.00 pm until 5.00 pm and will include a sensational raw food tasting experience. The three hour programme will have breaks for Junnie's own tea if you so desire, or you can choose from a selection of teas here. It promises to be an exciting and informative afternoon. Places are limited because of the size of the room, and will be allocated on a first come/first served basis. The cost is £35.00 to include food tasting and recipes to take home and try for yourself. There is a 50% discount for couples [so a couple counts as one], and children are welcome at no extra cost. There is also a discount of 20% for introducing a friend. Please apply either by using the contact page on the web site, or by emailing me directly on cynthia@healingtouchtherapy.co.uk.

Healing anger and resolving past conflicts is an important part of the healing process, and forms the basis of six Self Healing Days called Template Ceremonies.
Lynne Bowkett is coming to the North East to present the first of the Six Template Ceremonies based on the work of Juliette and Jiba Carter, authors of 'Original Innocence, the Reconnection of the Human Bio Circuitry through Coded Ceremony'. This is being held on Saturday, 27th September at 8 High Green Gainford [please note, not 1 Blackwell Lane, Darlington] and is a day workshop opening at 10.00 am with breaks for drinks and lunch which will be provided, and finishing at 5.00 pm. The day is very special and everyone I have spoken to who has participated in the Ceremonies acknowledges the subtle changes it has brought into their lives. The re-connecting of broken subtle energy pathways in our bodies can have profound and lasting consequencies for good health and emotional well being. Again, places are limited, and will be allocated on a first application basis.
