This depends on you, the nature of the condition you have, and your unique response to kinesiology and/or naturopathy. To see a measurable benefit I usually recommend a course of six treatments with consultations every four weeks.
Natural medicine treats the whole person with gentle methods which encourage the body to heal itself. By its very nature, it is not a 'magic bullet' approach, but a deep consideration of all the factors which have brought you into a state of disharmony.
A complementary therapist will work with the treatment you are receiving from your GP or Consultant. Natural medicine offers you a different perspective on your health when you feel you may not be getting the results you expect from existing treatments. It is an approach that looks for the cause of the problem, rather than treating the symptoms.
Again, this will depend on the complexity of the problem. Currently my fees are £67.50. If a block booking is made for a number of treatments, then a discount can be applied. Please note, this web site no longer has facilities to take payment on line. I have invested in a credit card machine instead.
The treatments do not include the cost of any herbs, vitamins and minerals supplements or Flower Essences, and I recommend an amount for these be included in your budget. As a rule of thumb, the cost of herbs and supplements is anywhere between £40 to £90 per treatment, but in many cases the products are likely to last for two months.
The best way to contact me directly is through my email firstname.lastname@example.org which I access regularly. Alternatively you can leave a message on my telephone answer machine 01325 730271. My commitment to you is to get back to you as soon as possible. The nature of what I do means I am most often in my clinic with a client, and their time is precious for them; it isn't always possible to be available to talk. Every effort is made to be accessible.
I do not encourage long conversations between treatments because by the very nature of what I do, I need to see you rather than hazard a guess as to what is really going on from a conversation. For this reason, and also the hazards associated with mobile phone usage, I actively discourage telephone conversations between treatments.
Most definitely, yes. Kinesiology and Naturopathy can be beneficial for any age group, from babies right through to the elderly.
Additionally The Healing Touch Therapy operates a non discrimination policy, and is not affiliated to any religion. As such, it is suitable for those of any religion or those of no religious affiliation.
It is commonly understood that pharmaceutical drugs have side effects, some of which can be severe. The first and most important principle of Naturopathy is 'do no harm' and within both my Kinesiology treatments and Naturopathic treatments I only use remedies which are safe and effective. It is also commonly understood that, for example, detoxifying may cause a headache. This is explained at the outset and all care is taken to prepare you for the expected, which is usually mild and transient. Since each treatment is uniquely tailored to you, the utmost care is taken to ensure you have only good outcomes, and learning about what makes your body well is an empowering process that you can use for the rest of your life.
No, I am a Complementary Therapist. The diagnosis of medical conditions must be carried out by a medically qualified person, and there are professional guidelines to follow, if, during the course of one of your treatments, I suspect you may have a particular medical condition. In this case I would advise you in writing to visit your GP or Consultant for a medical diagnosis.
In circumstances where someone has a genuine problem with childcare or work commitments I can arrange for a treatment out of office hours. Please telephone 01325 730271 for more information. Also I open the clinic one Saturday in four - watch my Events page to see when. The clinic opening times are 10.00 am until 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, and one Saturday morning every fourth weekend.
For Meditation Groups look at the Events page.
For Advanced Days [usually Saturday from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm with refreshment breaks] look at the Events page.
