Evolving your spiritual awareness is a wonderful and practical way to develop a healthy life and become truly well.
The foundation of spiritual awareness begins in the physical body, our connection to the earth. It is what we see, hear, feel, smell and taste. Living mindfully, slowing down and enjoying every step and each breath, is the beginning of the journey. Peace is already present in each step. The present becomes a 'present'.
The journey is to the plane of self healing. I call this level the 'spirit body'. This connection is the relationship between the individual and 'Universal Energy' or the 'Divine'. Anyone who has experienced this level will have an attitude of deep respect and understanding, which is indefinable.
Turning inwards and upwards and developing an attitude of gratefulness is a good beginning to getting in touch with the plane of self healing.

Practically, put as much as you can into the physical. Eat well, sleep well, exercise and take supplements where necessary. Nurture the body with massage, lie down by a waterfall, walk by the sea, listen to good music and participate in a gentle exercise regime like yoga.
Heal your anger and resolve past and present conflicts.
